Build a strong foundation in contemporary approaches to grief, including meaning-making, evidence-based grief theory, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practice.

Introduction to IFS

Develop a foundational understanding of Internal Family Systems and learn how IFS-informed approaches can support your work with grieving individuals.

Previous IFS Level 1 or other qualifying IFS training may fulfill this requirement with pre-approval.

Meaningful Grief Series 1 & 2

Dive deeply into the Meaningful Grief Model through two comprehensive learning series designed to expand your understanding of grief and strengthen your ability to support those experiencing loss.

12 CEUs are available for Series 1 and 12 CEUs for Series 2

Consultation

Bring your learning into practice through supportive consultation focused on integrating the Meaningful Grief Model into your professional work.

Requirement: Complete 3 Consultation Sessions

Meet the Creator:
Lara Krawchuk

Meaningful Grief was developed by Lara Krawchuk, MSW, LCSW, MPH, as a response to the limitations of traditional grief frameworks—particularly for those carrying complex loss, trauma, or unspoken pain.

Lara is a licensed clinical social worker, certified Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and consultant, educator, and grief specialist with more than 30 years of experience supporting individuals and professionals through loss, trauma, and life transitions. Her work is grounded in deep clinical training and a belief in the human capacity for meaning, creativity, and self-led healing.
