Grief is complex. It touches protective parts, tender parts, and often parts that feel overwhelmed or stuck. In this comprehensive digital seminar, you’ll learn how to integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy into grief work using a trauma-informed, non-pathologizing lens.

This experiential and clinically grounded workshop is designed to help you confidently support clients navigating death loss, ambiguous loss, living loss, caregiving stress, and complex grief responses.

Caring Ministries Symposium: The Universal Experience of Loss & Grief

Saturday, March 7 | 9:00 a.m. | Congregational Hall at the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church

Grief touches every life—through personal loss, communal pain, or anticipatory experiences. Emilee Duckworth, MSW, LCSW, joined a panel of experts to explore how grief shapes our inner lives, relationships, and communities.

The event included a screening of the award-winning documentary Voices of Grief: Honoring the Sacred Journey, followed by a thoughtful panel discussion and Q&A. Attendees were offered a compassionate space to listen, learn, and share—whether navigating grief personally, supporting someone else, or seeking deeper understanding.
