Meaningful Grief Retreat
October 20–23, 2026
Overnight Shared Room – Two Participants
Join us for a creative, experiential 3-night / 2.5-day grief retreat designed to gently support you in tending to the parts of yourself affected by the loss of someone dear. Whether your loss is recent, long ago, or somewhere in between, you are warmly welcome here.
Grieving can feel isolating, and many losses are insufficiently witnessed or held. In this retreat, we create a safe, compassionate space to honor all your grief—protective parts, tender parts, and everything in between—while exploring pathways toward hope, meaning, and healing.
Through our Meaningful Grief Model, you will experience a combination of creativity, movement, music, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) practices, supported by skilled facilitators. You’ll learn to welcome protective and tender parts of yourself, explore what healthy grief looks like, and reconnect with your capacity for self-compassion and meaningful connection.
What to Expect:
-
Safety & Support: Professionally guided small and large group experiences, including journaling, creative exercises, collage, movement, and reflection. All grieving parts are welcome.
-
Creativity: Opportunities to explore grief in personally meaningful, creative ways. Activities are flexible so you can engage at your own pace.
-
Movement & Nature: Mindful walks and gentle movement on the beautiful grounds of St. Raphaela Center.
